Metron Aviation, Inc. is seeking a Director of Sales with extensive experience in air traffic management to support global ATFM customers and initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for the international sales of ATM products and services. Strong consideration will be given to applicants with domestic/international level air traffic management experience and those with project-management experience. Travel Required: Yes - Internationally up to 60 -75 %
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary point of contact for the customer.
Develop, maintain and grow ANSP customer relationships globally.
Responsible for the development of a thorough and intimate knowledge of the assigned customer accounts by establishing regular contacts, developing confident relationships throughout the customer organization, and identifying the key factors in the customer's decision-making process.
Develop product and customer marketing concepts, tactics and incentives to influence the customer's evaluation of Metron proposals.
Anticipate risks and issues which may affect the Metron sales campaign and ensure proper and efficient involvement of Metron senior management as necessary.
Conduct sales campaigns to a successful conclusion, ensuring the best financial result possible.
Participate in and assist with the organization and coordination of industry events such as demonstration tours and tradeshows, as well as specific customer conferences and gatherings.
Prepare regular reports and briefings as required by Metron management and the organization in general. Such reports should be concise, articulate, and accurate representation of the commercial situation at the customer account.
Requirements:
BS or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of Commercial Aviation experience with experience in International Sales.
Understanding of Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs).
Excellent oral and written communication skills to include the ability to conduct formal presentations to internal and external clients.
Familiarity with systems engineering, software development, system deployment, system operations and program management of systems within the air transportation domain.
Ability to work proactively across multiple functional disciplines to formulate and execute plans and address issues.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and to anticipate customer needs and concerns and react accordingly.
Must be able to formulate strategies and independently achieve the set goals
Ability to independently and effectively resolve internal and external issues
Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
