The Risk Manager II provides critical information, interpretative, and detailed analysis, and deploys critical credit risk rational strategies that ensures the decisions are made within the TD risk appetite and adhere to all governmental requirements and guidelines. The Risk Manager II investigates, creates, implements and validates various risk segmentation strategies and policies using complex data including cohort time series analysis of PCL, Marketing Investments, Decision Expense, Risk Adjusted Revenue, Risk Adjusted Margin, NPV, ROE, etc. with the limited guidance from the manager.Highly sought out skills:* Quantifies and analyzes risk drivers and characteristics for US Auto Finance portfolios* Researches, evaluates, develops, and applies quantitative models and methodologies for analyzing risk exposures and Originations scorecard strategies* Performs independent statistical and optimization analysis to support credit risk and pricing initiatives covering the lifecycle of retail auto products, in areas such as portfolio migration analysis, economic impact assessment, expected loss/revenue expectation setting, and vintage performance monitoring* Solid understanding of credit scorecard modeling and end-to-end development, and knowledge of machine learning methods is a plusThis is a hybrid role (3 days a week) if you live near one of our hubs in Detroit MI, Wilmington DE, or Mt Laurel PA (outside Philly)Job DescriptionPerforms functions noted for Risk Manager IGenerally an expert at the enterprise or group business levelActs as the primary regulatory interface on risk issues and requirements for a key business segment of the Bank and assesses and provides direction for existing and new regulationsInterfaces with teams beyond risk in a cross-functional mannerRepresents business on corporate initiatives and identifies key risks and implications and provides direction in complex situationsRequirementsBachelor's degree required; Graduate degree preferred or progressive work experience in addition to experience below10+ years' experience requiredProficient PC skills in MS Office and a variety of PC-based analytical and reporting software packagesExperience with the use of Relational Databases and the process of Extract Transform Load (ETL) using common languages such as SQL or SASWorking knowledge of SAS Enterprise Miner, FICO Model Builder or Angoss Knowledge SeekerStrong analytical and problem solving skills are required to interpret data and draw conclusionsFlexibility to adapt to rapidly changing requirementsExtremely strong attention to detail with ability to manage a range of tasks and prioritizeProven ability to develop and maintain productive business/peer relationshipsSuperb written and verbal communication skillsExperienced in developing and presenting recommendations to Senior ManagementMust be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.Hours40InclusivenessAt TD, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected and supported.
